some random number keeps calling me and i want to find out who it is. does anyone know a free website for this? if not, does anyone have an account on a paid website? if so, email me and ill tell you the number to lookup. if you do this for me i will pick you for best answer

There aren’t any free ways. The only way to do it is to use a paid service. I found a site that provides accurate information. The site charges a small fee though.

I have been had so many times over the last few days, I’m out of ideas and practically out of money. I simply need a legitimate company to do a reverse cell phone llook upfor several numbers. I don’tmind paying for it but everywhere Ive tried is a scam (reversephonedetective..intelius…rever… etc). They cant get the results or they cant get them without "hiring an investigator" for another $100 there’s no way to get a hold of someone except through email which is never returned and I just need a few names here its not freakin rocket science. Please, if you have any experience with a legitimate company that I can do this with, I’d SO appreciate your direction, and thanks so much.

There’s a free tool you can use to see who owns a phone number at http://www.unitedsleuths.com/reverse-phone.html - just type the number into the search box and hit the button.

This tool searches the free resources online such as Google and Whitepages to bring back such owner details as their full name and location.

If it can’t find any free information, it shows you the best place to find it.
