Somebody made a fake email using my name and now they are instant messaging me. How do i find out who this is?

I am being severly cyber-harrassed in more ways than this I think im dealing with a serious hacker here. How do I find out whose email this is. I tried the reverse email lookup but it only give the ip and asks you to pay for any extra information which I think would be useless because this person would not use his/her information to make me a fake email.

Try contacting the website administrators of the websites you've been harassed on. Report that someone has been doing this to you, in detail and ask them for any help.

   It's probably just one of your friends messing around with you. I highly doubt its a serious hacker.
