Hello I was wondering if there was a way to find out the email address’ that are linked to a specific IP address? Someone was telling me they could find all the emails that I used because of my IP adrdess? Is this true? if so, how do you do it?
An email address cannot be obtained by knowing someones IP address.
However, an IP address can sometimes be extracted from emails send from that computer. This is because the email client (outlook, thunderbird etc) leaves a trace inside the message itself, which originally is used to be able to deliver the email, but can be read once send.
Most on line email services like yahoo mail, gmail and hotmail do not include the IP address of your computer.
How to do this is explained in detail on this site: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-trace-your-emails-back-to-the-source/
Thus, knowing someones IP address is not enough to find any of the email addresses that person used. IP Addresses and email addresses are not linked.
Having an email of someone though, is sometimes enough to find their IP at the time of sending the email. (Even when send trough a proxy)
Do note that IP does change from time to time, mostly when your modem resets or every couple of days/weeks. So knowing someones IP address from 4 weeks ago is not a guarantee that you know his current IP.
And just to make clear: Knowing an IP is NOT a means to "hack" or "take over" someones computer, it is merely an address. I wouldn’t be able to break into your house even if I did know the address. And I tell you, computers nowadays are much more secured against break-in than your house.

You can find a persons IP address in any e-mails that you receive by getting the header information, contained in that would be your IP.
You really wouldn’t be able to trace all the persons e-mail addresses from that IP, you could get a rough idea of their location but that is about it.
The only way to know what e-mails you use is if you have sent more than one e-mail to this person using different e-mail addresses, then they can compare the IP address in the headers of other e-mails they have received from you and match them up. This only works if your IP is static (stays the same all the time, cable etc) and not dynamic (changes every time you turn your PC on, Dial-up, ADSL etc).
Hope this helps.

It is not possible. However is well possible to obtain IP address from received email. Only what you need is email header from received email and then you can perform free email lookup:
